The Tidewater Inn provides excellent value for money, offering a warm and comfortable stay. The attention to detail is remarkable, from the antique tall four post trundle beds with comfortable mattresses to the hot coffee and wonderful breakfast served with genuine conversation. The staff, particularly the host Victoria, treat guests with genuine warmth and make them feel right at home. The location is perfect, within walking distance of the downtown area, as well as being conveniently situated on the Connecticut shoreline. Additionally, the rooms with a working fireplace provide a cozy atmosphere, perfect for a romantic getaway.

Spent New Year’s at this wonderful place! Loved the location close to the beach and restaurants. The jacuzzi tub in the room was a real treat! The homemade breakfasts were amazing and there were many toiletries provided which made packing easier.

The room was a bit cold at night, but we managed with extra blankets. The internet connection was slow and spotty, which made it difficult to work and plan the activities for the day.
